In my opinion, Dylan and Marley are the two best dogs anyone could ever have. Of course I am biased but I've bonded with them in a way I never new possible.
Dylan is a rescued English pointer mix. He's a hot shot flyball dog who loves to run free!! He plays with the Thunder Paws Flyball Club. We recently changed teams and it's working out quite well! He likes his ball and Frisbee and training to do just about anything! He's not in love with other dogs but we are managing his issues okay using PR techniques and clicker training. We love clicker training! It's so much fun for both me and my dog and it works amazingly well!
Marley is a rescued border collie mix. She's a working therapy dog and brings lots of joy to the people at the Alzheimer's center where she visits. She's the most food driven dog I have ever met. She freaks out at the scent or sight of anything the least bit edible. Marley doesn't have much drive for sports and unfortunately has some issues with her back and hip. She is trained to play flyball but is in very early retirement because of her physical limitations. She loves her therapy work though so it's a better fit for her than sports. It's amazing to see the difference she makes when we walk in a room. People's faces just light up like it's the best thing that's happened to them in a month.
